ATIT : ICFAI Institute of Science and Technology

ICFAI Institute of Science and Technology are located in Bangalore, Bhubaneshwar, Dehradun, Hyderabad, and Jaipur. The opening of new IcfaiTech Campuses at Chandigarh, Indore, Kolkata, Pantnagar and Ranchi is deferred by one year, that is, academic year commencing from August 2009. All candidates seeking admission into IcfaiTech for this academic year (B.Tech Program 2008-12) may please note this while indicating the IcfaiTech campus/branch preferences.

Admission to the B.Tech. Program is through ATIT 2008 conducted by ICFAITech.

Students may also be admitted to the program based on their all India Rank in AIEEE 2008 (All India Engineering Entrance Examination 2008) which is being conducted by the CBSE on 27 April, 2008.

The B.Tech. Program is offered at all five IcfaiTech Campuses, mentioned above. The following are the branches of engineering that are offered at IcfaiTech:

• Biotechnology
• Computer Science & Engineering
• Electronics & Communications Engineering
• Electrical & Electronics Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering

IcfaiTech is also in the process of developing 5-year integrated B.Tech.-M.Tech./MS Program and B.Tech.-MBA Program. These programs will be announced next year. Students of B.Tech. Program admitted during this year can exercise an option to pursue the 5-year integrated program of their choice at the end of the first year of the B.Tech. Program.

Examination

ATIT constitutes objective type questions in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in multiple choice format.

Application Procedure

Applicants interested in applying for the admission test for the B.Tech. Program can apply either by online or offline method.

1. Fill and submit the application form available at www.icfaitech.org/atit online, making a payment of Rs. 600 towards registration fee using credit card (Visa/MasterCard/Citibank Card) through the secure internet payment gateway.
2. Download the application form, complete it, and send it to The Admissions Officer, CPAD, 45 Nagarjuna Hills, Punjagutta, Hyderabad 500 082 along with a demand draft for Rs. 600 towards registration fee (drawn in favor of "The Icfai University Common Fund A/C IcfaiTech" payable at Hyderabad).

Eligibility

Students securing 60% and above aggregate at 10+2 examination or its equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as subjects, are eligible.
