DCE-NSIT: Combined Entrance Examination

University of Delhi conducts a Combined Entrance Examination (DCEE) for admission to Delhi College of Engineering (DCE) and Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT). Both institutions have a combined intake of 1170 students in various engineering branches. Admission to 15% seats reserved for the candidates from Outside Delhi Region (outside National Capital Territory of Delhi) will be made on the basis of All India Merit Rank in All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE-2008) to be conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

The different branches of Bachelors in Engineering offered by DCE and NSIT are:

  • Bio-Technology
  • Civil Engineering
  • Computer Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Electronics and Communication Engineering
  • Environmental Engineering
  • Information Technology
  • Instrumentation and Control Engineering
  • Manufacturing Process & Automation Engineering

Sale of Bulletin of Information: 14th March, 2008 - 16th April 2008

Last Date of receipt of request for supply of Bulletin by Post: 3rd April, 2008

Last Date of receipt of completed Application form: 16th April, 2008

Date of Delhi CEE 2008 Examination: 31st May, 2008

Examination Pattern

The exam consists of objective type questions in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

The duration of the test is 3 hours and there are a total of 180 questions, 60 each in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

The syllabus of the exam is same as that of class XI and class XII of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) course.
