While chemistry is the easier of the three subjects as far as the mathematical problems are concerned, its easy to get lost in infinite number of reactions and phenomena. We recommend a very strong focus on phenomena and numerical problems. It is not possible to remember each and every possible reaction, but a strong grip on core reactions with a solid understanding of phenomena would help trmendously. Give sufficient time to numerical problems in especially in physical chemistry; if you can attempt them you can be very certain that your solution is correct

This comprehensive book has been around for ages and has a very good compilation of problems/questions along with a little bit of theory. Supplement this book with other books for more practice on numerical problems. If you have strong fundamentals, this book will take you a long way.
