AIEEE - 2008 - Exam Pattern
- Entrance examination consists of two papers: Paper I for Engineering candidates and Paper II for Architecture/Planning Candidates.

- Paper I will have objective type questions with equal weightage to all three sections: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
- Paper II will have objective type questions for Maths and Aptitude Test and two drawing questions.
- There will be negative marking for incorrect answers. For each incorrect response one third of the total marks allotted to the question would be deducted. No deduction from the total score will be made if no response is indicated for an item in the answer sheet. More than one answer indicated against a question will be considered incorrect response and will be negatively marked.
- The question papers for the Examination will be based on a common minimum syllabus drawn from syllabi taught in different State Boards. For detailed syllabus check “Syllabus”.
- Candidates can opt for question papers either in English or in Hindi. The option has to be marked while filling Application Form. It cannot be changed later.
