AIEEE - 2008 - Application Process

Application can either be made ‘Online’ or submitted on prescribed Application Form only.   

Remember the Online procedure s not completely online, candidates still have to send some application material and examination fees by Post.

Sale of Application Forms

Information Brochure with the Application Form can be obtained

• By post by writing to:

Assistant Secretary (AIEEE),

• Personally from Regional Offices of CBSE and Designated Branches of Syndicate Bank/other Banks/Designated Institutions. Check the list in “Application Forms”.
• Candidate should not buy the Information Bulletin from any private publisher/vender as these may be fake Information Bulletins.

Examination Fees

• The Bank Draft should be made in favour of Secratary,CBSE payable at Delhi/New Delhi.
• If the Information Brochure is requested via post an additional Rs. 50/- should be added to the demand draft to cover postage expenses.
• In addition to Examination Fee, Service/Processing Charges of Rs. 5/- will be payable by the candidates to the designated Branches of Syndicate Bank/ Institutions.

Application Instructions

• Detailed instructions for filling the application form is provided in the information brochure and on the AIEEE website.
• For ‘Online’ submission of Application visit website http://www.aieee.nic.in
• Application forms (offline) and Printed form (online), along with photograph, signature and thumb impression, and demand drafts should be sent by Registered/Speed Post (NOT BY COURIER) to CBSE (see above address)
• Candidates submitting applications ‘Online’ are required to retain a photocopy of each of the generated Application Form and the Demand Draft for future correspondence, if required.
• Candidates with offline application procedure should also retain photocopy of their application form.
• Request for change/correction in any particulars in the Application Form will not be considered under any circumstances. Incomplete Application Forms, or the forms having over-writing, will be rejected.

Admit Card   

•  The Admit Card will be sent by post to the candidates (including those who made application online) about four weeks before the conduct of the examination.
• In case the Admit Card is not received by 10th April' 2008, Candidate must send a request for a duplicate copy along with the following material (see address above):
  • Two photographs (as pasted on the Application Form), one should be attested by Principal of the institution where candidate is studying/passed XII or by the gazetted officer
  • Photocopy of the Application Form
  • Photocopy of the Demand Draft
  • The original postal receipt issued by the Post Office for having dispatched the Application Form by Registered/Speed Postate Admit Card
  • Demand Draft (Rs.50/- as fee and additional Rs.30/- as postal charges for outstation candidates) in favour of Secretary, CBSE payable at New Delhi amounting
• Request for the issue of admit card after the examination will not be entertained.
• In no case the duplicate Admit Card would be issued at the Examination Centres.
